Monitoring
Configure project alerts and notifications
Understand the two levels of settings
DeployMonitor separates project availability from personal delivery choices:
- Project Admins use Available Alerts to decide which alert types and channels members may use.
- Every accepted project member uses My Alerts to choose from the options the project makes available.
An Admin enabling a channel makes it available; it does not automatically opt every member into external messages.
Choose available alerts as an Admin
Open the project, then use Options > Available Alerts.
Available alert types are grouped as follows:
- Project Logs: Daily Digest and Weekly Digest.
- Monitor: Monitor Down Notification and Monitor Up Notification.
- Certificate: 30-day renewal, 10-day renewal, and expired-certificate notifications.
The channels are App, Email, and SMS. SMS is available for monitor and certificate alerts, but not for daily or weekly log digests.
Select Save availability after making changes.
Choose your own alerts
Open the project and use Options > My Alerts. Enable or disable each available channel, then select Save settings.
In-app delivery is enabled by default. Email and SMS are personal opt-ins. SMS controls remain unavailable until you verify a supported phone number in Settings > Notifications.
If an Admin later disables an alert or channel at the project level, it cannot be used by members even if they selected it previously.
Review in-app notifications
Open Notifications from the main navigation. The badge shows the unread count. On the page you can:
- Filter by all, unread, or read notifications.
- Open the related item with View item.
- Mark one notification as read.
- Select Mark all read.
- Delete an individual notification.
Deleting a notification removes only that notification, not the related project, log, or monitor event.
For SMS setup, see Verify a phone number for SMS alerts.
