Monitoring

Configure uptime and certificate monitoring

Open Manage Monitor

Project Admin access is required to change monitor settings.

  1. Open Projects and select a project.
  2. Open Options.
  3. Select Manage Monitor.

The monitor URL is read-only because it follows the project URL. Change the URL through Options > Edit Project when necessary.

Configure uptime checks

Enable Uptime Monitor to have DeployMonitor request the project URL and store the result. Each result can include whether the request succeeded, its HTTP status code, response time, failure reason, and check time.

Set Uptime check interval from 5 to 60 minutes in five-minute increments. This is the normal interval for a healthy monitor. Failed monitors may be checked more frequently to confirm the outage and detect recovery.

Configure certificate checks

Enable Certificate Monitor to inspect the TLS certificate for the project host. DeployMonitor records the certificate status, expiration date, issuer, and any failure reason.

An initial certificate check is queued when certificate monitoring changes from disabled to enabled. Scheduled certificate checks then run daily.

Certificate monitoring is most useful for HTTPS projects. An HTTP project without an available TLS certificate will not produce a valid certificate result.

Save and review results

Select Save changes, then return to the project overview. Initial values may remain pending until the first checks complete.

The project overview separates monitoring data into Monitor Status, Certificate Monitor, and Response Time cards. See Understand uptime status and history and Monitor SSL certificates for details.
