Configure your first monitor

Enable the checks that match the website details you want DeployMonitor to track. Uptime, SSL certificate, and Domain Health checks are independent.

Open Monitoring settings

1. Open Projects.
2. Select the project you want to monitor.
3. Select Settings.
4. Select Monitoring.

Only project Admins can change monitoring settings.

Choose the checks

Enable any combination of:

• Uptime Monitor checks whether the project URL responds successfully and records status and response time.
• SSL Certificate Monitoring checks the TLS certificate for an HTTPS site and records validity, expiry, and issuer details.
• Domain Health Monitoring retrieves registration information for the registrable domain, including registrar, status, and expiration data.

Use Uptime check interval to select an interval from 5 to 60 minutes in five-minute increments. A failed uptime monitor may be checked more frequently so DeployMonitor can confirm an outage and detect recovery promptly.

Select Save changes when finished.

Understand the monitor URL

The URL is read-only in Monitoring settings because it always follows the project URL. To monitor a different URL, use Settings > General or create another project.

The replacement must be a public HTTP or HTTPS address and cannot already be monitored by another project. Changing the project URL also updates its primary Production environment. When Domain Health is enabled, DeployMonitor links and checks the new registrable domain.

Wait for initial results

The project overview may show Waiting for the first check, No data, or a pending certificate or domain state until queued and scheduled checks finish.

If uptime checks are paused by robots.txt, Monitoring settings display the reason. Skipped checks do not count as downtime, and checks resume automatically when access is allowed.
