Getting Started
Configure your first monitor
Open the monitor settings
Open Projects.
Select the project you want to monitor.
Open Options.
Select Manage Monitor.
Only project Admins can change monitor settings.
Choose the checks
Enable either or both available checks:
Uptime Monitor checks whether the project URL responds successfully and records status and response time.
Certificate Monitor checks the TLS certificate for an HTTPS site and records its validity, expiry date, and issuer.
Use Uptime check interval to select an interval from 5 to 60 minutes in five-minute increments. The interval applies to normal uptime checks. A failed monitor may be checked more frequently so DeployMonitor can confirm an outage and detect recovery promptly.
Select Save changes when you are finished.
Understand the monitor URL
The monitor URL is read-only in Manage Monitor because it always follows the project's URL. To monitor a different URL, use Options > Edit Project and change the project URL, or create a new project.
The replacement URL must be a public HTTP or HTTPS address and cannot already be monitored by another project.
Wait for initial results
The project overview may show Waiting for the first check, No data, or a pending certificate status until scheduled checks finish. Certificate monitoring starts an initial certificate check after it is enabled.
For all settings and status meanings, see Configure uptime and certificate monitoring.
