Projects & Logs
Find and understand project history
Browse logs across projects
Open Logs to review changelog entries from every project you can access. The newest occurrence is shown first by default.
Use the available controls to:
- Search log titles and descriptions.
- Filter by project.
- Filter by change type.
- Sort by log title, project, type, source, or occurrence time.
Filters are reflected in the page URL, making a filtered list easier to revisit or share with another member who has access.
Review a project's timeline
Open a project to see its Recent Logs timeline. It begins with five entries ordered by occurrence time. Select Load more to reveal additional entries.
Each timeline entry shows its type, title, description, occurrence time, and creator context. API-created entries identify the creator and the DeployMonitor API.
Open log details
Select a log title to review:
- Change type: Added, Changed, Deprecated, Removed, Fixed, or Security.
- Source: Manual, API, or System.
- Occurred: when the recorded change happened.
- Creator: the account attributed to the log, or Logged without a user for a system entry without an actor.
- Created and Last updated: when DeployMonitor stored and last edited the record.
- Description: the human-readable change details.
- Metadata: optional integration-specific JSON.
- Log ID and Fingerprint: identifiers useful for integrations and troubleshooting.
Occurrence times are displayed in the timezone selected in your profile.
Understand sources and fingerprints
Manual entries were created in the DeployMonitor interface. API entries were created with a project API token. System entries were created by DeployMonitor itself.
A fingerprint is optional and is normally supplied by an integration. It must be unique within a project and helps prevent the same automated event from being recorded twice.
See Create and manage project logs for editing and deletion permissions.
