Manage your projects

Use the Projects list to find and organize every project you own or can access through an accepted membership.

Browse and organize projects

Open Projects from the main navigation. You can search by name or URL, switch between table and card layouts, sort the table, and review monitor, certificate, and member summaries.

Select a project to open its Overview. The project header provides Overview, Members, Reports, and Settings tabs when your role permits them.

Edit a project

Project Admins can edit a project from its list actions or by opening Settings > General.

You can change the name, public URL, description, or avatar. Avatars must be JPG, JPEG, PNG, or WebP images no larger than 2 MB.

Changing the project URL also changes:

  • The monitor URL.
  • The URL of the primary Production environment.
  • The Domain Health link when Domain Health is enabled, which queues a lookup for the new registrable domain.

The replacement URL must be a public HTTP or HTTPS URL, cannot already be monitored by another project, and cannot duplicate another active environment URL in the project.

Leave a shared project

Members and Developers can select Leave for a shared project. Leaving removes their access but keeps existing project content, including logs they created, maintenance they scheduled, and reports they generated.

The project owner and other Admins cannot leave. An Admin must first arrange for another Admin to manage the project and have their role changed.

Delete a project

Project Admins can delete a project from its list actions or under Settings > General > Danger Zone.

Deletion removes the project and its monitor, daily monitoring statistics, memberships, API tokens, alert preferences and delivery history, maintenance records, reports, and environments. Project logs are no longer available. Domain registration records can be shared by other projects and are not themselves removed when one project is deleted.

Project deletion cannot be undone in the app. Confirm the intended project before selecting Delete project.
