Monitor domain registration health

Domain Health tracks public registration details for the registrable domain in a project's URL and can alert members about expiration milestones and registration changes.

Enable Domain Health

Project Admin access is required.

1. Open the project.
2. Select Settings > Monitoring.
3. Enable Domain Health Monitoring.
4. Select Save changes.

DeployMonitor queues the initial domain-link and registration lookup. The Domain Health card displays Pending until data is available.

DeployMonitor resolves the registrable ICANN domain rather than an individual subdomain. Internationalized domains are displayed in readable Unicode when possible.

Read the Domain Health card

The card can show the domain, registrar, expiration and registration dates, last registration change, last checked time, and reported statuses. Its state is Pending, Healthy, Expiring, Expired, or Check failed.

Active domain records are refreshed daily. Changing the project URL while Domain Health is enabled clears the previous project link and queues lookup for the new registrable domain.

Configure alerts

DeployMonitor supports 30-day expiry, 10-day expiry, expired-domain, and registration-changed alerts. The first successful lookup establishes a baseline and does not send a change alert.

Project Admins make App, Email, or SMS available under Settings > Project Alerts. Each member opts in under Settings > Alerts. Active project maintenance suppresses Domain Health alerts until maintenance ends.

Troubleshoot disabled Domain Health

An unsupported or unregistered domain disables the setting immediately. Temporary lookup or domain-link failures are retried, but three consecutive failures disable Domain Health for affected projects.

DeployMonitor creates a system log titled Domain Health monitor disabled with the reason. Review that log and the project URL, correct the cause, then enable Domain Health again. Re-enabling clears the failure count and queues another lookup.
