Set up two-factor authentication and recovery codes
Enable two-factor authentication
Open Settings > Security.
Confirm your password if prompted.
Under Two-factor authentication, select Enable 2FA.
Scan the QR code with a TOTP-compatible authenticator app, or copy the manual setup key.
Select Continue.
Enter the six-digit code from the authenticator app.
Select Confirm.
Do not close the setup flow until the code has been confirmed. An unconfirmed setup is not kept active.
Sign in with 2FA
After your email and password are accepted, DeployMonitor asks for the six-digit authentication code currently shown by your authenticator app.
If your authenticator device is unavailable, switch to the recovery-code option and enter one unused recovery code.
Store recovery codes safely
On Settings > Security, select View recovery codes. Store the codes in a secure password manager or another protected location separate from the authenticator device.
Each recovery code can be used once and is removed after use.
Select Regenerate codes if the existing codes may have been exposed or you need a fresh set. Regeneration invalidates the previous set, so replace every saved copy.
Disable 2FA
Open Settings > Security and select Disable 2FA.
Disabling 2FA removes the additional login check and invalidates its recovery codes. Only disable it when you understand the reduction in account security.
