Create your first project

Create a project to keep a website's monitoring results, project logs, maintenance history, members, API access, and alerts together.

Before you begin

You need the public HTTP or HTTPS URL for a website you own or are authorized to operate. DeployMonitor does not accept private-network addresses, localhost URLs, credentials embedded in URLs, or hosts that cannot be resolved publicly.

Each monitored URL can belong to only one project in DeployMonitor.

Create the project

1. Open Projects from the main navigation.
2. Select New project.
3. Enter a Name. Project names must be unique among projects owned by the same account.
4. Enter the public URL, including http:// or https://.
5. Optionally add a Description.
6. Optionally upload a project avatar. Supported formats are JPG, JPEG, PNG, and WebP, up to 2 MB.
7. Select Create project.

DeployMonitor adds you as an Admin, creates one monitor tied to the project URL, and creates an immutable primary environment named Production with the same URL. Uptime, certificate, and Domain Health checks are initially disabled, so creating the project does not immediately begin monitoring.

Open the project

Select the project name from the table or card layout. The project overview contains:

• Project details and a combined Activity feed for logs and maintenance.
• Scheduled or active maintenance notices.
• Uptime status and history when uptime monitoring is enabled.
• SSL certificate information when certificate monitoring is enabled.
• Domain registration health when Domain Health is enabled.
• Response-time history and metrics from uptime checks.
• Members, Reports, and Settings tabs based on your role.
• An Actions menu for creating logs and managing maintenance when your role allows it.

New projects show pending or empty monitoring data until you enable checks and the first checks finish.
